The water protected safety switch WZF is a safety switch with positive contact. By the multiplex coding an increased protection against manipulation is assured. The large tolerance between contact making to the stop of the actuator (5.5mm) ensures that when shaking protective enclosure no contact interuption will occur. If the actuator is pulled off the switch a forced opening of the contact takes place.

The WZF2 has an extra rugged and triple coded actuator of solid brass, whose special construction eliminates various risks of injury. The special tilt actuator permits a small tilt radius of 50mm. This means the switch can be located in the area of the doors pivot point or shutter. Alternately, a more economical plastic actuator is available. An additional version of the WZF 2 with MAGNETIC CATCH allows doors and gates to be held with a force of up to 50N. A long actuation travel (8.5mm) from initial contact pressure to closure prevents unwanted turning off of the machine due to door or gate vibration. The switch meets IP66 per DIN40050 Four various actuation alternatives are available. In the mounting area metal inserts are used for secure fastening. Turning the metal inserts allows hole spacing to be increased from 36mm to 40mm.Safety Switch-1
